I Might Be Pregnant

Are you wondering if you are pregnant?

One of the first indications of a pregnancy is a missed period. If you have been sexually active and have missed a period you might be pregnant.

Other indicators of pregnancy:

  • Nausea
  • Appetite change
  • Fatigue
  • Dizziness
  • Weight loss or gain
  • Frequent urination
  • Swollen and sore breasts

The easiest way for you to determine if you are pregnant is by conducting a pregnancy test.

Pregnancy tests are designed to measure the presence of a hormone in your urine called human chorionic gonadotropin. HCG can be detected as early as seven days after conception.

Free pregnancy tests and peer counselling are available at any of the centres listed on our site. Regardless of where you have a pregnancy test, confirming your pregnancy with a doctor is a recommended next step.

Please connect with one of our online peer counsellors if you have further questions or would like a referral to a local centre.
