The first step of any healing journey is a willingness to embrace the vision of a better day. As you take that step there will be many questions about what you can do or how to find healing.
Many women and men find it helpful to simply begin to tell their story in a safe and confidential setting. This can be achieved by connecting with one of our online peer counsellors. Other options may include in-person peer counselling, or participating in a 14-week post abortion support group, or attending an abortion recovery counselling retreat.
In general, the healing journey will involve sharing your story, identifying your values and strengths, processing negative emotions, releasing guilt and shame, grieving your loss, and experiencing peace.
